Steps to a Successful School Experience!
Register for the school.
Apply for your SCCA membership and Novice Permit.
Complete the SCCA Online Ground School.
Purchase required drivers gear.
Have your car prepared and ready before the first day of the school.

More Race Licensing School Information
Successful completion of the ProDrive Racing School satisfies the SCCA driver's school requirements to obtain an SCCA Novice Permit & enter SCCA Regional races.
-First become a member of SCCA. You can join online at any time by going to www.scca.com and clicking on the "Join SCCA" button at the top of each page. You will need your SCCA membership number to apply for your Novice Permit.
-Bring your own race-prepared car or rent a Pro Drive Spec Racer Ford (for more information www.prodrive.net). You must also provide your own driver's gear, including a head and neck restraint device AND an SA2015 or later helmet.
-Then apply for a Novice Permit. The Novice Permit application requires an SCCA physical form, photos, and a current State or Province driver's license in addition to the application.

SCCA Licensing Accreditation Breakdown:
Step one: Attend an accredited SCCA Licensing school and apply for your novice license.
Successful completion of the school satisfies the SCCA driver's school requirement to obtain a SCCA Novice Permit License. You may enter any SCCA Regional event with a Novice Permit License.
Step two: Work towards the next level of licensing, a FULL Competition Racing License.
A FULL Competition Racing License is required to enter SCCA Majors and Super Tour Events. Three SCCA sanctioned regional race event weekends on a Novice Permit License will allow you to apply for a Full Competition Racing License.

SCCA Accreditation Licensing levels with Pro Drive Racing School:
1-Day Racing School (Standard Accreditation)
Graduates receive credit for 1 SCCA school on their SCCA Novice Permit License. You may enter any SCCA Regional event. After completing three SCCA regional event weekends you may apply for your FULL competition racing license
2-Day Racing School (Standard PLUS Accreditation)
Graduates receive credit for 1 SCCA school and 1 SCCA sanctioned regional race event weekend on their SCCA Novice Permit License. You may enter any SCCA Regional event. After completing two SCCA regional event weekends you may apply for your FULL competition racing license
3-Day Racing School (Advanced Accreditation)
Graduates receive credit for 1 SCCA school and 2 SCCA sanctioned regional race event weekend on their SCCA Novice Permit License. You may enter any SCCA Regional event. After completing one SCCA regional event weekend you may apply for your FULL competition racing license
